Many large companies who are not internet service providers also need a computer permanently connected to the web so they can send email, files, etc. to other sites. They may also use the computer as a website host so they can provide details of their goods and services to anyone interested. Additionally these people may decide to place online orders.
- Free web hosting service: offered by different companies with limited services, sometimes supported by advertisements, and often limited when compared to paid hosting.
- Shared web hosting service: one's website is placed on the same server as many other sites, ranging from a few to hundreds or thousands. Typically, all domains may share a common pool of server resources, such as RAM and the CPU. The features available with this type of service can be quite extensive. A shared website may be hosted with a reseller.
- Reseller web hosting: allows clients to become web hosts themselves. Resellers could function, for individual domains, under any combination of these listed types of hosting, depending on who they are affiliated with as a reseller. Resellers' accounts may vary tremendously in size: they may have their own virtual dedicated server to a colocated server. Many resellers provide a nearly identical service to their provider's shared hosting plan and provide the technical support themselves.
- Virtual Dedicated Server: also known as a Virtual Private Server (VPS), divides server resources into virtual servers, where resources can be allocated in a way that does not directly reflect the underlying hardware. VPS will often be allocated resources based on a one server to many VPSs relationship, however virtualisation may be done for a number of reasons, including the ability to move a VPS container between servers. The users may have root access to their own virtual space. Customers are sometimes responsible for patching and maintaining the server.
- Dedicated hosting service: the user gets his or her own Web server and gains full control over it (root access for Linux/administrator access for Windows); however, the user typically does not own the server. Another type of Dedicated hosting is Self-Managed or Unmanaged. This is usually the least expensive for Dedicated plans. The user has full administrative access to the box, which means the client is responsible for the security and maintenance of his own dedicated box.

Banyak cara untuk membuat band mereka agar cepat dikenal orang atau dalam bahasa kerennya cepet naik daun mulai dari promosi gratis sampai bayar mahal atau mengandalkan orang yang bisa membawa band tersebut menjadi terkenal atau cara yang paling instan nebeng nama sama band yang udah terkenal, sebenarnya cara-cara tersebut sah-sah saja menurut saya toh hasilnya tetap akan terlihat setelah band tersebut dilihat atau dinilai orang, disinilah fase seleksi alam akan terlihat. Band yang mengawali karier mereka dengan kemampuan skill dan management yang baiklah yang akan terus dapat bersinar di industri musik.

Emang bener-bener mantap beud dah nich band, dengan meninggalnya the Rev (sang drummer) tidak membuat band ini lalu berhenti berkarya. Hal ini terbukti dengan dikeluarkannya album baru mereka dengan single album Nightmare. Dengan menggandeng drummer kawakan Mike Portnoy mereka siap mengguncang dunia musik internasional

And hence, the presumed purpose of BI is to gather and provide information to help managers make more “intelligent” decisions. This interpretation of the term may be appropriate for describing the activities of a staff group tasked with gathering information, e.g., a business intelligence unit, but it works less well for explaining IS/IT technologies and applications.
Information Systems vendors and analysts tend to use the term for a category of software tools that can be used to extract and analyze data from corporate databases. The most commonly used business intelligence software is known as a “query and reporting” tool.
Also, business intelligence is a term that some financial analysts and commentators use for categorizing a small group of software vendors and their products. A number of commentators identify the following companies as major BI tool vendors: SAP/Business Objects, IBM-Cognos, Oracle-Hyperion, SAS, and MicroStrategy. Many acquisitions have occurred since 2002 of BI tool vendors.
From a historical perspective, business intelligence is a popularized, umbrella term introduced by Howard Dresner of the Gartner Group in 1989 to describe a set of concepts and methods to improve business decision making by using fact-based support systems. In the early 1990s, the term was sometimes used interchangeably with briefing books and executive information systems.
Seth Grimes (2007) notes the first definition of business intelligence (BI) was in an October 1958 IBM Journal article. In the article, H. P. Luhn argued a Business Intelligence System will “… utilize data-processing machines for auto-abstracting and auto-encoding of documents and for creating interest profiles for each of the ‘action points’ in an organization. Both incoming and internally generated documents are automatically abstracted, characterized by a word pattern, and sent automatically to appropriate action points.”
SDG Computing’s (http://www.sdgcomputing.com/) Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing glossary defines Business Intelligence Tools very broadly as “software that enables business users to see and use large amounts of complex data”. SDG Computing categorizes three types of tools as Business Intelligence Tools: 1. Multidimensional Analysis; 2. Query Tools; and 3. Data Mining Tools. Many observers would not include data mining tools as BI tools.

Setiap tahun, Symantec merilis versi terkini dari aplikasi pengamanan mereka, termasuk varian terlengkapnya yakni Norton 360 yang tahun ini sudah mecapai versi 5.0. Dan seperti biasa, beberapa perbaikan dari versi 4.0 sudah dilakukan.
Sebagai informasi, Symantec menyediakan 3 seri dari bundel pengamanan all-in-one ini yakni Norton 360 Version 5.0, Norton 360 Version 5.0 Premier Edition, serta Norton 360 Version 5.0 Netbook Edition.
Semuanya memiliki fasilitas yang sama. Bedanya, versi Premier Edition menyediakan online storage untuk backup data dengan kapasitas lebih lega, tidak 2GB seperti yang lain, namun 25GB.
Adapun model Netbook Edition merupakan model yang sudah dioptimalkan penggunaannya bagi komputer jinjing ringkas yang spesifikasinya lebih sederhana itu. Untuk instalasi, Symantec juga menyediakan link download karena netbook umumnya tidak hadir dengan drive optik. Kali ini kita akan mencicipi versi standar yakni Norton 360 Version 5.0.
